Recipe for Chocolate Fudge Pie by Laurie Rohl

Laurie Rohl was the winner of the 2006 Heartsong Bake-Off pie division. Chocolate Fudge Pie was the winning entry.

Chocolate Fudge Pie

  1. 2 pkg. (4 serving size) chocolate pudding & pie filling (NOT INSTANT)
  2. 3.5 cups of milk
  3. 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  4. 3/4 cups chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients together in sauce pan. While stirring with wire whisk, bring to a full boil. Remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes, stirring twice.

Pour into baked pie shell or graham cracker crust. Chill at least 3 hours. Top with whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate curls or mini chocolate chips.
