Yvonne Lehman

YVONNE LEHMAN lives in the mountains of western North Carolina, which provides the setting for many of her novels. She is a best-selling author of over 40 books, including mainstream, inspirational romance, mystery, the White Dove series for young adults, and the widely-Acclaimed In Shady Groves, reprinted by Guideposts as Gomer in their 'Women of the Bible" series. Yvonne was founder and director of the Blue Ridge Christian Writers Conference for 17 years until 1993. She now plans and directs the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference for Lifeway/Ridgecrest Conference Center. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Dwight L. Moody Award for Excellence in Christian Literature, Romantic Times Inspirational Award (first in nation), National Reader's Choice Award (twice), and first place in the inspirational category of Book Sellers Best Award (judged by book sellers across the nation).
