MARY LOUISE COLLN grew up in Illinois but spent most of her adult life in Missouri. She wrote in her spare time while pursuing a nursing career and raising a family. She now writes full time in Franklin, Tennessee, where the natural beauty and sense of history encourage her fascination with the lives of our ancestors. She likes to write both historical and contemporary fiction.
